Psalm 113

Vers 1
O praise, the Lord’s name praise.
Yea, blessed be the name of God
from this time forth always.
Vers 2
God’s name is to be prais’d.
Above all nations God is high,
’bove heav’ns his glory rais’d.
Vers 3
on high, who can compare?
Himself that humbleth things to see
in heav’n and earth that are.
Vers 4
that very low doth lie;
And from the dunghill lifts the man
oppress’d with poverty;
Vers 5
and with the princes set;
With those that of his people are
the chief, ev’n princes great.
Vers 6
he maketh, and to be
Of sons a mother full of joy.
Praise to the Lord give ye.
Psalm 113 belongs to Book V (Psalm 107–150) of the Psalter. Egyptian Hallel: Sung at the Passover feast. Hallelujah psalm: Begins or ends with the Hebrew "Hallelu-Jah" (114, 118 and 136 are not included).
